Coyotes greet each other by touching noses.
Please keep your nose low so the coyote does not strain itself in greeting you.
You see this Coyote is being restrained from driving its nose too far into the human.

This is a "rescued" groundhog.

The human who found this groundhog mistook it for a Beaver.

This groundhog was rescued from drowning through it's ignorant rescuer who made certain groundhog was covered in water all over ....thinking she was Beaver... when she was dried out and was resuscitated...she was fine and released eventually.... after we all lived together a bit for the betterment of understanding human groundhog customs and culture.

I am remembering the experience of the aerial view of the Himalayas now...the majestic grandeur that needs to be experienced to be understood. Can you see the peak of Mt Everest? I believe it is in the top left quadrant of the photo. Looks like part of the clouds but a close look will show a peak high above the clouds. Click on the Wikipedia link to see the large image of the peak.

New York in the summer is great if not too humid.

Central Park is usually a bit cooler not having the heat absorbing cement of the city surrounding the park. In the many walks I have had in the park I have only once seen something this astonishing...I mean I have seem much "strange" in the park but taking a heavy piano into the park to play for free to the various people who might be in the park was new to me and never repeated in my experiences.

The lighting was extreme...from dark shadow to bright sunlight making exposures difficult.

If I remember correctly, the woman was with another woman friend and they spoke a language I did not understand. I am thinking a Scandinavian language which would make sense if they were photographing a man who likely had too much to drink and no place to sleep it off....likely a rare sight in their home country. This sad sight used to be all too common in the 1980's-90's...It has been a long time since I wandered the fascinating streets of New York City.
