Adding this photo (below) now as it is interesting to me. The boy is my son. I saw my purpose in life as guiding him through childhood etc. To have a comfort zone that was expansive yet respecting. To fear what is truly dangerous, to explore what may not be dangerous. This is never easy as he would refuse to believe that he could not catch poisonous copper head snakes...so it was challenging. The other children in this particular photo below are mostly reticent while my son is calm and curious.
